Eagle Scout Project

Thomas Hogan, son of Patrick and Eileen Hogan, stands beside his completed Eagle Scout Project at the Plymouth Historical Society in Plymouth. Hogan is a member of Troop 425 of Larksville; Scout Master, Joseph Ariel.
Hogan’s project consisted of securing over 400 small Yankee and Rebel figures, including trees, horses and cannon to a pre formed military display depicting an actual Civil War Battle. The display was donated to the Plymouth Historical Society by Dr. Richard Langdon of Bear Creek. Tom’s project also included securing the acrylic sides, attaching a clear see-through cover on the display, and skirting the sides of the frame work. Several pictures of Civil War Generals will join the display in the near future. The display took several weeks to complete and will remain at the Plymouth Historical Society indefinitely. The display will be open to public viewing during this Saturday’s Kielbasa Fest.
Hogan is now a Freshman at Marywood University in Scranton, pursuing a major in History and Secondary Education.
